To put this into brutal perspective...

The cost of the recent order announced for replacement of the British Army's Snatch Land Rovers, the inadequacy of which has cost so many lives in Afghanistan and Iraq, is £100 million. WPP's move to Ireland will probably cost UK plc of twice that amount each and every year.

It is good to know that the NHS is now paying less than it was. It wasn't fictitious, but it was written in the Spring of 2009: it is now December 2009.

This is absolute rubbish!

The NHS are currently purchasing Dell Computers for a lot less than the £379 you have stated, where did you get your facts from or are they just fictitious.

As I wrote, these two lawyers do seem to be utter geniuses.

Newsnight this evening should be interesting, its web site stating:

Also, a law firm has abandoned a bid to prevent the British press from reporting proceedings in Parliament.

Carter-Ruck had tried to stop all media revealing that a Labour MP had tabled a question relating to oil-trading firm Trafigura and Ivory Coast toxic waste.

When Paul Farrelly asked about an injunction blocking the publication of a report on the waste, called the Minton report, Carter-Ruck argued that an order stopping media revealing that the report had been blocked applied to Parliament.

Tonight Liz McKean will report on this case and the prevalence of media laws being used by large companies to restrict information.

This man ran a Ponzi scheme just like Bernard Madoff. He is a liar and a cheat. He was undone by his greed when he put the company up for sale for 180 million pounds. Had he tried to sell it earlier for a quarter of that sum, he would have been able to start another Ponzi scheme

Paul, surely some basic checks could have been made by the various people involved before accepting bilimoria as a lord, chancellor, business guru etc. Is it because of his ethnic background that these checks were not done?It now makes it doubly difficult for other more deserving people to be recognised by the establishment ie once bitten......well done lord b, your ethnic community salutes you!!

As an example of the delusions of the English public regarding Cobra beer, consider the following prize comment, a blurb on the cover of Mr. Bilimoria's second book on entreprenurship, published incidently the week the company went bankrupt !!
....
'Inspiring!... worth the cover price for the Financing Cobra chapter alone.' Professor John Mullins,
London Business School

THIS, FROM THE CHAIR/PROFESSOR OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT LBS. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE ?
